We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our team, working closely with students to provide essential support in their learning and development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students navigate the challenges they face, both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with teachers, offering one-on-one or small group sessions aimed at developing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and self-care techniques. Your support will be crucial in creating a positive and nurturing environment where students can thrive.

  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them develop emotional resilience and life skills
  • Assist in developing and implementing tailored education plans for students with mental health needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and adjust support as needed
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to all safeguarding and privacy regulations
  • Assist in managing student behavior and meeting the specialist needs of the young people
  • GCSEs/Level 2 Equivalent in Mathematics
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in an educational or mental health setting
  • Strong understanding of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
  • Commitment to professional development and best practices in supporting students with mental health concerns
  • Understanding of child safeguarding with the ability to respond to concerns efficiently
