Job role: SEN (Special educational needs) Teaching assistant

Location: Grangetown 

Do you enjoy working with children and want to play a key role in children’s education? Teaching Personnel are looking for an enthusiastic teaching assistant for a wonderful Primary School in Cardiff.

You will be working with a child with SEN in Primary School, helping with classwork, outdoor play and any other activities!

This position will be Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 3:30, fixed term until the end of the academic year and then a chance to carry on in September too!

Desirable qualities:

• Do you have any qualifications or experience working with SEN children?
• Are you flexible, creative, and able to create relationships easily with pupils?
• Are you punctual and reliable?
• Do you have a calm and patient approach to your work?

For this role you will need:

• DBS (we can assist you with this)
• Two references
• The right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
