We have a number of roles available in our secondary schools that don’t require previous classroom experience.

 

Working for Teaching Personnel gives you pay rates from £12.82 per hour and the flexibility to control your own working diary. Work as much as you like on a PAYE contract with 12% holiday pay inclusive of your weekly wage.

 

The jobs require the successful candidates to work 1:1 with pupils who have special educational needs (SEN) including Autism, ADHD, Sensory and Physical disabilities. No prior experience is required, and training can be provided to support you in your professional development!

 

Key skills needed for a TA include:

-          Excellent communication skills

-          High levels of patience

-          Providing motivation for pupils who often find learning challenging

-          Ability to work with other staff to provide the best support possible

-          Strong in enforcing school behaviour policies

-          Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding (Level 2 training provided)
