Are you a passionate and dedicated professional with experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the skills to inspire and guide students to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to provide personalised support to students with diverse special educational needs. In this role, you will work closely with students to understand their unique learning requirements and implement effective teaching strategies to facilitate their academic and personal development.

  • Hourly rate, £12.82 - £13.50
  • Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one, tailoring your approach to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Develop and implement personalised learning plans, utilising a variety of teaching resources and methods.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a cohesive support network for the students.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, progress reports, and relevant information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an SEN TA or in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various special educational needs and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEN succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special education (desirable).

Location: The position is based in Padiham, East Lancashire.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
