Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a SEN Teaching Assistant in the Barnstaple area. We are looking for a committed individual to join a brilliant team at one of our schools. The ideal candidate will be able to support the class in a variety of ways, including working with small groups of students and 1:1 support.

The ideal applicant will be caring, patient and empathetic. They will be motivated to help build a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. You will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support and guidance to students with diverse learning needs.

The ideal candidate will have –

-            Previous experience working with children is desired not essential

-            Good communication and teamwork skills

-            Confidence in small groups and 1:1 situations

-            The ability to build strong, consistent relationships with students

-            Driving licence is preferred not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
