  • Supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for SEN students
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with additional needs
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of SEN students
  • None required

No specific educational qualifications are necessary, but a background in education or experience working with SEN students may be beneficial.

Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN is preferred but not essential.

  • Understanding of Special Educational Needs and different learning styles
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards students
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
  • Basic administrative and organisational skills
  • Qualifications in Education, Childcare, or related fields
  • Training in behaviour management or SEN support
  • Work in a school setting
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for interaction with students with diverse needs and abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
