Education and Training

£77 - £95 Per day

  • Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Help students with learning difficulties or disabilities to access the curriculum and participate fully in school activities
  • Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans for students with SEN
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to pupils with SEN
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support children with SEN

Relevant education or training in Special Educational Needs is desirable

Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teaching staff
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Training in safeguarding and behaviour management

This role involves working in a school environment, collaborating with teachers and other support staff. Flexibility in working hours may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
