Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

  • Supporting the teaching and learning of students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings
  • Assisting SEN students with their individual learning plans and providing additional support as required
  • Collaborating with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Helping to implement specific strategies and interventions to support SEN students' progress
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour
  • Relevant experience working with SEN students
  • Understanding of different learning needs and abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working in an educational setting is desirable
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in SEN support
  • First Aid certification
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
