Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a positive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of students

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN requirements and best practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate or diploma in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Training in behaviour management techniques

Working Conditions:

  • Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
  • Full-Time hours, temporary position
