At Teaching Personnel, we are collaborating closely with a primary school in Sale, who have come straight to ourselves for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child who has been diagnosed with Autism in their Year 4 classroom. You will be working in a fully inclusive school where all pupils will learn through a broad and balanced academic curriculum. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school Monday 6th May. The school have commented on the successful applicant coming into school beforehand for scheduled handover days (availability dependent), this would ensure a smooth transition for the pupil as well as relevant information to be communicated prior to the start date.

- Supporting a pupil 1:1 with their learning and development.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Level 2 Safeguarding Course (We can offer training for this qualification).
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN within a school setting. Working with children in other settings would be accepted such as playscheme, sport coaching, nursery, residential homes and many more.
- Must have a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
