SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

• Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
• Support students with their learning and development, including personal care if required
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures in an educational setting

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• First Aid training
• Mental Health First Aid qualification

• Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
• Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
