Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in close to the Beaminster area. 

The school has a new pupil joining their Year 2 class who will need some extra 1:1 suppport.

This role will be until the end of the academic year and will be for 5 days a week, starting as soon as possible. There is a possibility this may extend should the pupil return for the following school year. 

The role:

  • You will be working 1:1 with a year 2 pupil with SEMH needs.
  • The pupil will have her own work station and timetable to stick to.
  • You will be guiding the pupil through their structured learning.
  • Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management. 

Requirements:

  • You will need to be able to think on your feet and be adaptable to change.
  • Come up with creative ways to engage the pupil and maintain concentration levels.
  • Strong experience in an SEN Enviroment and supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of SEMH.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
