Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with SEN
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Education:

  • Relevant education and training in Special Educational Needs

Experience:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Experience in a classroom setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and support techniques
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy towards students with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in behaviour management or SEN support

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time hours, working in a school setting
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
