  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to SEN students
  • Helping students with their learning activities and personal care needs
  • Assisting in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications)

Previous experience working with children or individuals with SEN

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid training
  • Training in safeguarding and child protection
  • Work is primarily carried out within a school setting
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for some flexibility in working hours
  • May involve some physical activity and lifting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
