  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans for students
  • Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities in accessing the curriculum
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Relevant qualification in education or special educational needs

Prior experience working with children or individuals with SEN

  • Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others

Teaching Assistant qualification

  • Work in a classroom setting within a school
  • Full-time hours, temporary position
  • Potential for interaction with students with varying needs and abilities
  • Collaboration with teachers and other educational professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
