  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting students with their social and emotional well-being
  • Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in education or related field

At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role

  • Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual students
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies in SEN education
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • SEN-specific training or qualifications
  • First Aid certification
  • Work hours typically follow the school timetable
  • May involve some physical activity and lifting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
