Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with personal care and medical needs, if required
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or willingness to undergo training
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Experience in a classroom setting is desirable
  • Understanding of different learning needs and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • First Aid certification
  • Makaton or other communication support training
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Work within a school environment
  • May involve assisting with outdoor activities and school trips

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
