SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Education Specialist, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the education of a young individual by being completely focused on and tailored to their specific needs. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, each with a range of experiences in engaging young learners and supporting them in overcoming learning barriers within the school environment.

• Collaborating with children who have SEN and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Engaging with young individuals facing various learning barriers.
• Inspiring hope for a better future.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in SEN/education.
• Commitment to and understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Experience in effectively engaging young individuals with complex and challenging behaviours.
• Availability for at least 4 days per week.
• Access to personal transport with the ability to travel within a 15-mile radius.

The working hours align with school opening times (08:30-15:30), offering flexibility in terms of days worked, occasionally limited to mornings or afternoons. We provide you with the opportunity to manage your schedule around personal commitments.
