Salary: £87 - £100 Per day

The SEN Teaching Assistant will provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a school setting. The role involves working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the educational and social development of students.

  • Assist students with SEN in their learning and development
  • Support teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide one-to-one support for students with specific needs
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Prior experience working with children with SEN is essential

  • Understanding of SEN educational practises
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Additional training in SEN support
  • Full-time contract position
  • Working hours may vary based on school schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
