Our client secondary school in Salford are looking for a Teaching Assistant in order to ensure all pupils have the correct support they require.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant 
  • Septemer 2024 start 
  • Weekly salary based between £350 and £400.
  • Based within a secondary school in Salford.

Working as a Teaching Assistant within the SEN department, will include;

  • Supporting pupils who have specific SEN such as Autism and ADHD.
  • Working alongside other members of staff within the SEN department.
  • Supporting the class teacher and ensuring all pupils are completing their tasks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating pupil progress.

Pupils who are taught within the SEN provision have been removed from mainstream classrooms as they require additional support to reach their targets.  The successful candidate should have some experience previously working with pupils who have SEN, preferably within an educational or transferrable setting.

Our client school is in Salford and is easily accessible via the M61, M62, A580 and A57 from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Prestwich, Cheetham Hill and Swinton. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also accessible via public transport from areas surrounding Manchester.
