If you have answered yes to those 3 questions, then Teaching Personnel are interested in you!

As primary SEN support staff, you will be working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing support and assistance to students with a range of SEMH and SEN needs, whilst supporting their academic progress. You will need to provide guidance and encouragement to students, whilst being understanding and compassionate but with clear boundaries in place. The primary schools we work with are mainstream schools, but these roles have an emphasis on supporting the schools SEN children. 

The successful candidate will attend regular meetings with SLT and parents/carers to track the students’ academic, emotional, and social progress. Maintaining a positive working environment is essential to the attainment of students, therefore the ideal candidate will adopt a positive and confident approach.

Requirements for this role:

-          A clear and up-to-date DBS (Teaching Personnel can support)

-          Available Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30, during term time

-          Be committed to this role, the school and its children

-          Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with students and school staff

-          Prior experience working with children with SEND or SEMH

-          Team teach trained (preferred but not essential)

-          Behaviour management experience

-          Are local to or can travel to Tottenham

Positions are full time with competitive pay, and regular increases based on performance.
