We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic educational environment.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant at this Tiverton School, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Work with students with special educational needs (SEN) and support their individual learning plans.

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
