We are seeking experienced and dedicated full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our growing team at one of our Partnership Schools. This role would be ideal for individuals residing in or near Hemel Hempstead (HP3 postcode) or the surrounding areas.

Applicants must have access to reliable transportation, whether by car or public transport, to reach the school's location.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week at one of our partner schools, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm during term time only.

We have immediate start options available, or we are also recruiting for roles starting after an appropriate notice period for successful candidates.

Applicants must have relevant professional or personal experience, and a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs.

 

 

Typical TA duties may include:

  • Providing crucial support to students in all areas of the curriculum, both in the classroom and in various learning environments.
  • Assisting young individuals with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
  • Fostering an environment that promotes equality, diversity, and the rights of all students to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Empowering and supporting young individuals.
  • Developing a deeper understanding of Special Education issues and embodying the school's ethos.
  • Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
  • The role may require participating in physical intervention and personal care routines.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
