Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in Okehampton starting in September 2024. Some children respond better to male Teaching Assistants, but all female applicants will be equally considered.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with SEN one-on-one to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
