Education and Training

£85 - £100 Per day

  • Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
  • Assisting the teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing one-to-one support to children with SEN
  • Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support pupil development
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Good understanding of safeguarding procedures

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Previous experience working in a classroom setting

  • Knowledge of different types of SEN and strategies to support them
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience and empathy when working with children with SEN
  • First Aid training
  • Mental Health First Aid qualification

This role will involve working in a classroom environment, providing support to children with special educational needs. The work may be emotionally demanding at times, but it is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational development of children with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
