Are you an experienced SEN Teaching assistant who has a passion for working in the education sector?

We have an opportunity for you to work in the Wirral area, in a unique and special school where staff, students and families all work together to make ‘everything better’.  The school caters for pupils who need a little extra support.

They aim to provide a safe, warm and optimistic learning environment and encourage the pupils to feel confident and comfortable in their environment so they can achieve the best to their ability. The school aim to break down any barriers that the students have towards learning with the aim to get them prepared to hopefully return to mainstream school.

The school encourage students to improve all aspects of their life by supporting them and having extremely high expectations of them.

  • The working hours are 8.30am–3.30pm (full-time)
  • Specialist provision- Wirral
  • The pay for this role is £85-£100 per day

The school offer an extra-curricular programme to create further opportunities for personal development. They encourage pupils to get involved in as many activities as possible to teach them life skills they need to grow into successful adults.

The ideal SEN teaching assistant would be somebody who is very resilient, they would be able to work closely with vulnerable students and help them to achieve their goals. It is important that you are a good communicator and able to work well in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
