Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at one of our esteemed primary schools in Grimsby from September, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class in various capacities, including working with small groups of students and providing 1:1 support. Collaborating closely with teachers, you'll contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:

  • Caring and Patient: Demonstrates empathy and a genuine desire to support students.
  • Effective Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, along with strong teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptability: Confidence in handling small groups and providing 1:1 support as needed.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain strong, consistent relationships with students.
  • Driving Licence: Preferred but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
