Are you a dedicated teaching assistant who would love the opportunity to work in a Liverpool school?

We have an opportunity for you to support some of the cities most vulnerable children and young adults. The secondary school aims to support all pupils who suffer with social, emotional and mental health needs. They aim to do this by creating trustworthy relationships with students and ensuring that the school is a safe and comfortable space for them.

  • The working hours are 8.30am–3.30pm (full-time)
  • The pay for this role is £11.85 - £12.57 per hour depending on experience!
  • Start date- As soon as possible.
  • Special Provision- Liverpool

Each Student has an individual programme that helps to support the student in every possible way and ensure that they get the best care they need to help them live independently and give them the life skills they need as they grow into adults.

The school achieved a GOOD rating from Ofsted and had comments from the parents who stated ‘My son is a different child and is thriving academically’. The schoolwork very closely with parents and always encourage them to be involved in the plan for their child. They have created amazing relationships with parents as they believe it will help to care for their child in the very best way possible.

The ideal teaching assistant would need to be resilient and willing to work with each child’s individual plan, ensuring they receive the best care. They would need to be able to set a good example and work closely with parents to make sure all the child’s needs were being met.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
