SEN Teaching Assistants Needed in Hull – September Start

Are you dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is partnering with schools in the Hull area to meet the growing demand for skilled SEN Teaching Assistants.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with individual students, providing essential support to help them overcome their learning barriers and achieve their full potential.

A Typical Day May Include:

  • One-on-One Support: Working directly with students who have SEN and SEMH needs, either individually or in small groups.
  • Tailored Interventions: Providing bespoke support and interventions to address specific learning challenges.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised education plans and strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in working with SEN students or in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Commitment: A strong dedication to supporting both the educational and emotional development of students with SEN.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to the individual needs of students and implement effective strategies to foster engagement and progress.
  • Availability: Must be available for at least 5 days per week.
  • Transport: Access to personal transportation and the ability to travel within a 15-mile radius.

Working Hours:

  • School hours (08:30-15:30), with flexibility available for mornings or afternoons if needed.
