Salary: £95 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom.
  • Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Support students with their academic and personal development.
  • Work closely with SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other staff members to ensure the needs of SEN students are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.

Education:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards SEN students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Training in specific SEN interventions or programmes.

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday.
  • Classroom-based role with some additional administrative duties.
