Salary: £1400 - £1600, Dependent on experience

Job Description:

One of Teaching Personnel's partner schools is currently in need of a SEN Teaching Assistant to join the school in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and ensuring their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN.
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress.
  • Liaising with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Supporting students with personal care needs if required.
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in working with children with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students.
