SEN Teaching Assistant – North London

Start date: 2nd Sepetember 2024 (for the full academic year) 

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping students with special educational needs excel in Maths. The incoming TA will have the skills and dedication to provide tailored numeracy support to pupils with a range of abilities, from those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).

Position Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant at this Primary School in North London,you will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small, mixed-year groups, tailoring your support to specific abilities and needs. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners who require extra support.

Key Details:

  • Salary: £85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees), paid weekly.
  • Location: This school is easily accessible via public transport and offers on-site parking for those who drive.
  • Working Hours: This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, providing consistency for both you and the students you support.
  • Payment Basis: You will be paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel, ensuring a straightforward payroll process. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in SEN, will be highly advantageous.
