Role Overview

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be an essential part of our team, providing personalized assistance to our students. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff, you will help ensure that each student can meet their individual goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting students with complex learning disabilities in their daily learning activities
  • Supporting teachers in the implementation of customized educational plans
  • Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Encouraging social interactions and developing communication skills
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress
  • Providing emotional and behavioural support as needed
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall success of the school

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
  • A compassionate and patient demeanour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to enhancing the well-being and development of students with Special Needs
  • Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undergo training
