A great opportunity to support students at varying levels of learning ability within an average sized secondary school in Salford.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP.
  • Fixed term contract to start September 2024.
  • Supporting students with additional learning needs within the classroom.
  • Secondary school - close by to the area of Salford.
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’.
  • Earn up to £1900 per month.

Our client secondary school is set in a modern building with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. Most classrooms have interactive whiteboards which can be used to provide different approaches to learning.

The incoming teaching assistant will be providing 1:1 and small group support within the classroom to ensure all pupils have the guidance they require. Prospective candidates will ideally have experience working alongside young people previously. Any direct experience with children who have additional learning needs or SEN is also desirable.

The school is located in Salford and is a short drive from the M62 motorway and is accessible from surrounding areas such as Bolton and central Manchester. The school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
