A SEN school based in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team in the Autumn term. This specialist setting provides high-quality education for pupils with diverse needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting students through emotional and behavioural challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, following individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) is preferred but not essential.
  • A genuine passion for supporting SEN students and contributing to their academic and personal development.
