Primary SEN L3 Teaching Assistant – Warrington (WA1)

A successful primary SEN school in Woolston, Warrington is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their passionate team of educators. This school are particularly interested in candidates who are Team Teach trained, as these skills are in high demand to support their pupils effectively.

The incoming TA3 will be expected to provide tailored support to students with a wide range Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASC, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs, Medical Needs and Sensory Impairments. This will involve implementing strategies to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment, including the use of PECs, Makaton and Team Teach techniques.

To be put forward for this role, applicants must have proven experience working with SEN students and full-time availability, Monday to Friday. You must have an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one. Registration with Teaching Personnel, including 2 years’ of professional references.

In return, the incoming TA3 will receive a competitive HLTA daily rate of £90+ per day, dependent on experience. This will be paid through weekly PAYE through Teaching Personnel timesheets, with no umbrella company or agency fees. The school are willing to wait for the ideal candidate to complete their current notice period if necessary.
