SEN Teaching Assistant New

We are recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant in Croydon to start in October!

Role - SEN Teaching Assistant at special needs high school in Croydon

Times - Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:15pm.

Contract - Start ASAP in October 2024, full time & long term. Expected to go perm for the right person.

Pay - £95 -£100 per day
• Paid PAYE, we don't use umbrella companies!
• Supporting pupils with Autism, Complex Needs and Severe Learning Disabilities.
• Some pupils with require support with Personal Care tasks such as moving, changing, toileting, feeding & personal hygiene.
• Working in small groups and 1:1 at times.
• Teamwork with the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants.
• Managing emotions and behaviour so that teacher can focus on learning.
• Supporting the class teacher in the implementation & progress of Individual Education Plans.
• Liaising the outside professionals and parents when required.
• Reporting on progress and incidents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
