Are you looking for the opportunity to work in some excellent schools in the Tameside area?

Teaching Personnel are partnered with several schools in the Tameside area that are currently searching for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their fantastic schools.

The opportunity in hand will allow for the successful candidate to work alongside a brilliant team of staff to help the progression and learning of students who are requiring additional support through their schoolwork.

The main roles and responsibilities:

  • Assisting year 7-11 students through a 1/2/1 basis, along with some small group work.
  • Encouraging and promoting an active learning environment.
  • Monitoring the behaviour of the students to maintain a calm and positive atmosphere.
  • Support the class teacher through learning activities.

All of the positions at the start of working with Teaching Personnel will be on a flexible basis that allows for you to book in and block out the days you want to work, to suit your lifestyle and needs.

Even though the roles are temporary to start with, some full time positions do become available through the school, if they wish to keep the successful applicant on.

In return Teaching Personnel can offer:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
