Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton, NN4
Hours: Mon - Fri 8:30am - 3:30pm – Term Time Only

A Mainstream, Secondary school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team in Northampton from as soon as possible. 

The Inclusion offer is delivered by the SENDCO team, the Inclusion Hub (which includes our provision for students with English as an Additional Language), in- class support with reasonable adjustments, and a focus on quality first teaching to provide scaffolding and ensure a positive and enriching learning environment and experience for all the students. The SEND team possess a wide range of expertise and a plethora of skills. This team comprises of an Assistant Principal for Inclusion, a SENDCO and two Deputy SENDCOs, in addition to 10 widely and diversely experienced Teaching Assistants. They are now looking to expand and bring on some new Teaching Assistants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
