SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? A small and supportive school in Colne is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

This role involves working within a specialist provision that caters to pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and Autism, delivering a trauma-informed approach to education. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Role Details:

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Location: Colne
  • Start date: ASAP

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have experience supporting children with SEN, Autism, or behavioural challenges
  • Be patient, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference in pupils' lives
  • Be familiar with trauma-informed practices (desirable but not essential)
