Location: Rossendale Area (Primary & Secondary SEN School)
Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM
Rate: £12.90 per hour
Contract: Sporadic, Temporary

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking an enthusiastic and flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, sporadic basis at a specialist SEN school in the Rossendale area. This rewarding role involves working across both primary and secondary settings, providing vital support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for children with special educational needs.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help with classroom tasks, lesson preparation, and maintaining student focus.
  • Work closely with the SEN team to deliver personalised education plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, either in a primary or secondary setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to learning.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
