Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity across various Secondary Schools in WN4 for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting students with a range of needs, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students is preferred but not essential.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SEN coordinators.

SEN Teaching Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies.
  • Provide academic and emotional support to students in need.
  • Lead small classes and deliver pre-set revision resources.
  • Track and monitor the progress made by pupils within sessions and feedback to senior management.
