SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Rawtenstall
Hours: 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Rate: £12.90 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary

Are you passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Rawtenstall. This temporary role offers the opportunity to work with children who have special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher with daily tasks and create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Help implement individual learning plans tailored to each student's needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting young learners.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
