Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support students with a range of special educational needs and provide personal care as required. Your contribution will be vital in helping our students thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational programs for students with SEN.
  • Provide personal care and support to students, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning.
  • Support students in developing independence and social skills.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in a support role, particularly within an SEN environment, is desirable.
  • A background in care work or personal assistance is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Ability to adapt to individual student requirements and challenges.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
