SEN Teaching Assistant
Area: Tadworth, Surrey

A highly reputable SEN School Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the permanent staff at their site in Tadworth, Surrey. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist in developing and delivering tailored learning plans in collaboration with teachers and SEN coordinators.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing atmosphere that promotes students' academic, emotional, and social growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities.
  • A caring, patient, and positive approach to supporting children’s individual needs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
