Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Colne
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £12.90 - £13.50 per hour
Contract: Full-time

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a nurturing and trauma-informed environment? We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a small, supportive provision in Colne that specializes in helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Implement a trauma-informed approach to help students feel safe and supported
  • Assist in classroom management and the delivery of tailored learning activities
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive, inclusive environment
  • Previous experience working with SEN students or a passion for supporting those with additional needs
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practices (preferred)
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
