Teaching Assistants Wanted – DAY TO DAY 

Location: Northampton
Contract: Temporary through Teaching Personnel, with potential for permanent employment
Start Date: January 2025 (following safe vetting checks)

We’re looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in a range of SEN schools on a day to day basis to cover absences. The schools provides support for pupils with special educational needs both in the classroom and in a residential setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children who need your help and guidance to succeed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with additional needs in both educational and residential settings
  • Assist teachers with delivering individualized learning plans
  • Help manage behavior and provide a safe, supportive learning environment
  • Promote the personal and academic development of pupils

Requirements:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (essential)
  • Previous experience working with SEND pupils or in a care environment
  • Flexibility to work in both classroom and residential settings
  • Own transport is preferred due to the school's location
  • A positive attitude and commitment to improving pupils' outcomes
