SEN Teaching Assistant 

I am looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a school in Leyland, starting ASAP.

 
A small, family-feel primary SEN School based based in Leyland, are looking for a passionate support assistant to join them! The school caters for children aged 4-12 with additional needs, mainly Autism.

- Experience supporting children or adults, not necesarily in an educational setting.
- Experience as a health care assistant or support worker.
- Confidnece supporting children with special educational needs.
- Confidence providing personal care.
 
Key Duties-

- Providing academic support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
- Quickly build positive relationships with students.
- Support pupils with engagement and encourage pupils to be involved.
- Support the general class teacher. 
- Participate in the delivering of learning activities. 
- Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural and physical development through the curriculum.
