Job Advert: SEN Teaching Assistant - Westbury

A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff at their Westbury site, starting in January 2025 or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational and personal development of students with SEN.
  • Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans and activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to track student progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to student care.
