Join the support department of an Ofsted rated ‘good’ secondary school in Bolton; supporting pupils aged 11-16 varying in levels of learning ability.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant.
  • Janaury 2025 Start
  • Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Providing support for pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs.
  • Earn up to £1750 per month, depending on experience.

The incoming candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades. To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or transferrable experience to work. Any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is desirable.

This mixed secondary school is based near the centre and has over 800 pupils on roll. The school has modern facilities throughout, with interactive whiteboards and several computer suites available to both pupils and staff. The school is easily accessible via the M62/M66/A580/A56 and via public transport links from the surrounding areas including Bury, Farnworth, Horwich and Rivington.
